"I Kissed a Computer and I Liked It"

I Kissed a Computer and I Liked It” (coming soon)

Edwin´s is now working on his third release—more an EP than a full album—I Kissed a Computer and I Liked It. This time Edwin moves decisively into a more digital sonic landscape while preserving the avant-garde spirit that has defined his work so far.

The EP feels like a natural evolution rather than a departure. Hosoomel leans further into electronic textures, synthetic rhythms, and glitch-inflected production, crafting a sound that is noticeably more polished and mature. Yet the experimental DNA remains intact. Instead of abandoning his earlier unpredictability, he refines it—allowing unconventional structures, abstract sound design, and sudden shifts in atmosphere to coexist with a stronger sense of cohesion.

What stands out most is how the project balances accessibility with experimentation. The digital palette brings a crispness and clarity to the compositions, but the arrangements still resist easy categorization. Moments of melodic warmth surface through layers of distorted beats and processed tones, creating a dialogue between human emotion and machine-like precision—an idea hinted at by the EP’s playful title.

Ultimately, I Kissed a Computer and I Liked It presents Edwin Hosoomel at a point of artistic maturation. It suggests an artist becoming more confident in shaping his sonic identity: still curious, still experimental, but now more deliberate in how those ideas are delivered. The result is a compact yet intriguing project that expands his sound without sacrificing the avant-garde character that made his earlier work distinctive
